    I love the way you explain the reasons for different fingerings, but never insist on what is best. You teach us to think for ourselves and use our own creativity to justify how and why we play a certain way.

    Thank you Marc, fingerings are so personal. A fingering should suit your personal technique, your fingers, your guitar, and most importantly should reflect your musical expression. There is always more than one good fingering. I myself change them almost on a daily basis.

    I like what you said about guitarists being magicians. There's some truth to that (lol).I have the Richard Stover edition of this piece. It includes all the variations, but I always stuck with the one as it's printed on the page. I like doing the full chords on those chromatic dominants like you do. Instead of the other variation that I hear often that only accent the top note (16th note) on those chords. Anyway...Nice lesson! I enjoyed it.
