Completely agree with you on that; Platel's rendition will always be the best IMHO; she has such expressivity with her arms. But this one is also reasonably good, but not nearly as good as Platel.
C’est triste, mais sans aucun intérêt, surtout quand on se souvient de Sylvie Guillem…

you compare her to russian ballerinas, but before it was dancec by another french ballerinas who were very graceful and perfect compared to Valentine Colasante. I do not understand why this ballerina is became "danseuse étoile", in my mind, she has so much to learn.
