Why we are taking nominal values....in previous date example....? Cant we take....boundary value or any other value which is in range...like for Month we can take 2/3/4 ...right? Correct me please if I am wrong. Thanks in advance !

Mission Voyager Exploring the planet X-005 Episode-033 Soft landing. The Voyager spacecraft was lucky to get it all well. If the landing would have been even have delayed by even just five minute then though the landing would have been good but would have been in the greatest pit of the planet,The Pit. About 10,000 km deep and a bowl shaped formation. The unfortunate landing would have taken not much,but atleast half of the total energy of the spacecraft.
