I will say, mad respect to you dudes that load their 600cc+ sport bikes in the bed of your trucks. I put my ZX-10R in the bed of my Ram once and it was supper sketchy. After that I just got a cheap $500 5x8 trailer off of Facebook market place and modified it to solely be a motorcycle hauler. The way i see it is, all it takes is one slip to nearly total my $12k investment + the cost of medical bills if that heavy sum bich crashes down on top of me. With a cheap trailer thats never a possibility + it works really well for loading a crashed bike or broken down bike.
Very useful…saves me the usual learning curve
Great video. Appreciate the details and lessons you learned along the way. Good stuff. Nice job on the backing plate...should last a lifetime and hold the bikes well. I'm looking toi do something similar soon. Stock tie downs just don't get it done.
Good thought on the bracing under the bed. I used big washers, but i think your way is better.
Thanks for posting
Thank you for the video, extremely helpful!
Nice work. Thanks for the links as well.
Awesome post! Very Helpful 😎👍
Nice job
Thanks a lot. Helpful.
Thanks for the great video. Not sure what year F150 you have, but aluminum bed with steel screws/components will lead to galvanic corrosion. Something to be aware of and insulate property.
How on earth did you get between the bed and the cab? there's no space at all and there's a huge lip
@5:35 are you missing a bump stop? Also I want them but thinking about on the sides.
Why bedliner the bed but not the tailgate? Tailgates get alot of wear. Is it a new tailgate?
