This is my first ever tarot tube tag! Feel free to join in and tag me in your video response! I'd love to see what decks you choose 🌈💖🦋✨
Prompts/Genres:
1. Sci Fi - a deck that incorporates imaginative, speculative, and/or futuristic concepts.
2. Horror - a deck that scares, frightens or disturbs you.
3. Romance - a deck that focuses on relationships or romantic love between people with an overall emotionally satisfying or optimistic tone.
4. Thriller - a deck that delivers tension, surprise, and/or a sense of impending doom and keeps you at the edge of your seat.
5. Mystery - a deck that is mysterious, suspenseful and doesn't reveal answers right away. Reading with this deck may feel like solving a puzzle.
6. Action - a deck that features loud, wild and spectacular imagery that may be overwhelming but you love it anyways.
7. Fantasy - a deck that transports you to an imaginary world with magic, mystical creatures or elements of the supernatural that don't exist in the "real world".
8. Comedy - a deck that is humourous, amusing or induces laughter and/or a sense of enjoyment.
9. Drama - a deck that focuses on conflicts in characters' lives that takes a more serious tone.
10. Documentary - a deck that depicts real life people, animals, events or situations that may be educational or informative.
11. Animated Film - a deck with bright, expressive or cartoon-like images that you probably would have enjoyed as a kid (and still love as an adult).
12. Western - a deck that embodies a spirit of freedom, exploration and adventure.
13. Black & White Film - your favorite black and white deck OR a vintage deck from another era.

This was so much fun! Loved seeing which decks you chose for each genre, you shared quite a few I had never seen before. Also, we have so many of the same fave films. I'm also a horror head, weirdly, I don't have many spooky/horror type decks which feels like something I should remedy. OMG, I love 'But I'm a Cheerleader'. Natasha Lyon AND Clea DuVall in the same movie? It's a always gonna be a yes from me.

I only have a couple spookier decks but i def want to snag a few more later this year for the season 😜 YESS they are both so 🔥🔥🔥 I remember seeing that movie as a kid, and aside from being in love with both of them LOL i was so happy and blown away to see a sapphic romance on my screen for the first time. So nostalgic for me 🥹🩷

I love this tag! I look forward to jumping on this tag. I found your channel through Benny. Horror is also my favorite genre too. Thanks for sharing some history regarding the horror genre. There’s also a good amount of queer history surrounding the horror genre that a lot of our community can relate to. I recommend watching the Queer for Fear documentary on Shudder. A fascinating look in the decades of horror in a queer lens! Looking forward to more of your content 🧡🎃

I think these are some my favorite films in the different genres . Im a big mech and kaiju fan so the godzilla films and pacific rim films hit for me. Have you seen Desert Hearts thats one of my favorite lesbian surpsingly western romance films?! Cloudbursting is also one of my favorite lesbian romance films about older lesbians its so sweet. For my comedy films pee-wees big adventure was one of my favs as a kid and still makes me laugh today. Bottoms was a great queer comdey film I loved. As for animation i think I'd choose a studio ghibli film like kiki's delivery service cause its adorable and witchy everthing I love

@@emeraldfern6135 omg we have such similar tastes 🙊💖 I didn't even think of Kaiju movies, my gf is obsessed with Godzilla and the like and she has been slowly educating me and showing me all the good stuff 😁 studio Ghibli is MY LIFE !! And no I haven't seen cloudbursting or desert hearts but I'm taking diligent notes ✍️✍️✍️ thanks for the recommendations 🥰
If you watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid through a queer polyamorous lens it's FASCINATING. The Gender at play is intensely compelling-at least, to me 😅 I'm biased, though, as it's one of my favorite films of all time.

@@lucid_moons Looooove what you said about different eras of horror and the cultural fears they express. Also, Young Frankenstein is flawless comedy. Blazing Saddles says something but Young Frankenstein is pure comedy.

I haven't commented on your page before but omg we have a lot of similar tastes in films and media. Also I could only think of gay romance films too haha

Great tag! 💜 I'll VR for sure, though it sounds like you know far more films than I do! We have some similar tastes - I taught 'Arrival' in a university course once, and can appreciate horror though I'd rather read it. The Cat People deck has some accompanying novels, written by the very accomplished sf author Andre Norton (they're sitting on my e-reader but I haven't read them). I do love that deck, and Silicon Dawn - Silicon Dawn it kind of blows my mind that it was published mass market as early as it was; it's *so* good and I so hope it gets reprinted someday, the book especially.

Yess sci-fi has always been political 🙌🏻 this tag is so fun, I will definitely film a VR! I wish I could be a horror movie person, but my nervous system cannot take it! Same with thrillers. I also immediately thought of Tarot del Fuego! It's got that never-stop-blowing-up vibe to it lol.

But somehow I take great enjoyment from it?? Lol 😂 and yesss del Fuego is a very explosive deck I just had to !!!
