U.S. Army soldiers with the 173rd Airborne Brigade plan a joint, combined airborne operation alongside the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces during Exercise African Lion 2023 on June 8, 2023. Interview features Army 1st Lt. Keegan Parker, air operations officer for the 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment. Approximately 8,000 personnel from 18 nations will participate in African Lion 2023, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia from May 13 to June 18, 2023.
