An enjoyable hour of educational information. I missed the live show but my question was going to be about LNG, and hearing Peter Lürssen's response was great. It was also nice to hear his professional and humble response to the sailing yacht question; not an ounce of arrogance with a "we can do everything better" like some companies in other fields will try to do. I look forward to the next Lürssen Live!

Great job! Pretty interesting! The only negative point is the pretty basic questions from the “yachts enthousiaste”. I can’t wait to see the future fuel cell power yacht.

What is the range @ cruise speed for a yacht powered by a fuel cell? Also, Mr Lurssen gave an example of the fuel cell powered yacht has a 1,00o nm range at a slow cruise, @ what speed gave that range? Thank You

In this specific first installation we are looking at a leisurely pace for moving in and out of anchorages or within islands. The range is dependent on the quantity of Methanol stored.

Well, water contains some deuterium and if we manage to use that in fusion we will have that energy that Jules Verne dreamed of. Not quite WARP engines but close enough :-)

personally, i really wanted to know the dimensions and power output of a single fuel cell "module" could a few power say a SUV while a hundred a yatch/ship for example? if a single design is scalable from personal road vehicles to huge commercial marine vessels i feel the potential of these fuel cells could increase manyfold! i tried to find such info on Freudenberg website but can't find it :(
