Very apt and useful information regarding leaf decomposition. Sir I do kitchen waste decomposition through vermiculture. It takes 3 to 4 months but we get very good quality organic fertilizer. Thank you for the video and keep the good work going.

Sir, i used bottom cut plasic drum for the purpose. Doubt is whsther it should be covered fully or not. We have monsoon season also. Can it rain on this collection?

Yes, you can keep its mouth open. Keep it moist always.

For quick harvest use urea, curd ,buttermilk ,some soil nearer to old trees trunk,any type of organic manure 10% etc things fasten the process .

Take the plant out from pot carefully, remove soil partially from around the side of rootball and then repot the plant with modified soil.

After watching a few of your videos, I now have a strong urge to start my own garden in my flat, which will be a good occupation after my recent retirement. However, my balcony does not get direct sunlight any time during the day. Can a soil-less, potted garden be started there? If yes, which plants grow well without direct sunlight in north India (Delhi)?

Millipeds are not harmful for plants. They are good for decomposition of dead organic matters. Leaf composting can be done in a well ventilated pot also, but it may take longer time to complete.

One thing I want to aske u ihave hard water how can I use adding some thing specialty for plants

Keep the leaves moist and ventilated. Minimum one year will be required.

You can use different types of leaves. There is no fixed rule for that.

Kitchen waste composting karti hu. Usme Black soldier fly ke maggots hamesha bante hain jo mostly terracotta pot ke base me settle ho jati hain. Compost ready hone k bad ye larve kuch zinda hote hain aur kuch mar jate hain jiske bad bs unki body cover reh jati hain. Kya ye compost se nikalna hota hain (empty shells) jb compost ko filter karte hain ya aisa hi chodke soil m use kar sakte hain? Inko use karne se plants me koi bura effect pad sakta hain ya in larve shells ko b organic waste ki tarah manke use kar sakte hain? Plz reply kijiye

Yes, you can use that freely. No side effects are seen due to the dead and dry shells.

Sir mene nursery se curry plant laya tha or jo tips ap ne apne video mai diye the usi tarah mane uski care ki porus soil cow dung compost well drained soil or mera plant growth bhi karne laga usne 1 week tak growth kiya or uske bat growth ruk gaya fir monsoon a gaya mane plant ko barish me chodh diye tab bhi uski growth nahi ho rahi tab mane plant ko pot mai se samal ke baahar Nikal to roots ki bhi growth nahi hui thi please make video or tip to me what should I do

This is not the way of gardening. Plants take its own time and I have already mentioned in my video that the initial growth of curry plant is slow. It should not be disturbed in between.

Earth worms are good for soil, so there is no problem even if some are present in leaf compost.

You can store it as long as you want. You have to mix it with soil just like any other composted manure.
