In spite of the needlessly generous length of that note at the end, I love Bartoli. But my goodness, if I ever payed money to see such staging I would've gotten pissed, a travesty!

Why do we hav Russian subtitles? There can be no great er contrast between the sweet mellifluousness of Italian and Rossini’s music and the guttural, asiatic aggressive nature of Russian. 3:06
