Tsinghua teachers and students sang the song L’Internationale in multiple languages to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Just as the song calls for unity in the world, let’s strive to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

2011年的时候，我还是初二，班级上要表演节目，我站上去唱了一首国际歌（很惭愧，唱了前半段），当时班上很多人笑话我，说几岁的人，还唱这样的歌，我相信十年后的今天，如果还有初中的小朋友在讲台上唱国际歌的话，肯定没有人嘲笑他了

@@Shutiao468 文革未必混乱，氢弹，卫星都在文革期间搞出来的。毛主席搞文革的初衷是为了避免官僚主义，走资派复辟，他当时已经预感到来自党内的这种倾向，你看看现在中国是不是这样。当年搞国企改制，多少优质国有资产被管理层窃取，没钱接盘银行还放贷款，然后政府发债接盘，免费送一个现成的企业给私人。王健林之流都是靠这个起家的。

The song was written by Eugene Pottier of Paris Commune. Back in the early 70s, US-China was engaged in normalization in relationship. A member of American delegate told Premier Zhou Enlai "It seems Paris Commune was dead 100 years ago." Zhou answered "It seems you reached that conclusion too early."

Criticize Communism all you want, the bloody truth is it did not put human civilization on the brink, Capitalism did and still does. Under Communism, everybody is poor, yet advancing technology eventually will change that. Under Capitalism, humanity is as good as dead, 1962 was just a warning shot across the bow. Then there is pandemic, climate change, super volcano and God knows what.

Yes, being a comrade is quite tough in india because here class is closely tied to caste system therefore, upper caste (which is less in population) controls lower caste (large population) who are mostly illiterates. Secondly, barrier of language and region makes it difficult to form a unified proletariat revolution.

@@EE-ve3vh Yeah. It's strange how a lot of "average" Americans are conditioned to think that it is bad to have Unions at work who will fight for your salary, benefits, and working conditions. They feel that would be bad for the companies they work for. Even though those companies are not looking out for their best interests and won't hesitate to lay them off in order to increase profits.

@@Earthman99999 it's the legacy of slavery. The United States was created as a corporation to extract and produce it began with slavery and continues to to that s day. Humans are just a "resourse" and are not the reason or part of the corporation. It is a huge plantation place. It's not a country. The people inside are socially engineered to serve the machine. It's long and complicated for a utube answer. The promotion of ignorance and the control of who gets educated is part of the problem. Systemic racism and the removal of cultural roots is another. With the advent of Neoliberalism in 1980 and the end of the Soviet Union it became the Hegemon giving the monster greater power. That's why a multipolar world is absolutely necessary. On the other hand some would say...why millons flock to the US. Just look at who they are. They are the displaced masses of countries invaded and raped by the US

@@4_dennyfauzulhakim479 one of my relatives went to North Korea during the 1990s and possibly 80s to help there for aid. He is now a professor and wrote a book about the country too. He said that a vast majority of the country was dirt poor of course excluding the capital itself. And no, don’t try to blame the US for this because it’s not the US fault for the NK government wasting such a vast amount of money on useless parades and faulty nukes.

That being said, I too hope that one day a true fraternal spirit among Japan, China, Korea, and etc may come to be. Mate they were all chinese, even Korean, Vietnamese Thai, Japanese and come part of russia are heavily influenced by chinese culture, to reclaim their heritage would be to recreate the various dynasties that subjigated or intermarried with them, which would still technically be chinese rule. Think or at least research befor you speak.

@@kevincheng4136 why not claim the galaxy as Chinese? They did not recognize themselves neither did the Chinese until 1912 and the “five ethnicities under one flag” principle. Prior to then China was exclusively a Han concept and they explicitly proved that by building the Great Wall and willow palisade.

@@kevincheng4136 the problem with you claiming those ethnicities as “Chinese” is that China is actually a subordinate of those ethnicities, and it was for 2000 years. China has been stealing culture from its occupiers for centuries and it would be hypocritical to call Korean Japanese mongol Russian and other historical kingdoms as “Chinese” because they share one cultural similarity.

Ignoring all the bullshit you've been writing in a lot of other threads, you do realize most of the world is still in a developing/ industrializing state, and that China is already ahead of the majority of those developing countries right? In fact just last year your American masters wanted to reclassify China as a "developed" country now. Secondly, all countries develop at their own pace, there is no standard for how long "you're supposed to be" doing this unless you view the world from a Western/ Anglo-centric point of view (which is frankly pathetic and self-flagellating coming from a Korean like you). This is especially considering the fact that Western countries that industrialized in the 1800's to the mid 1900's were only able to do so by colonizing and enslaving more than 75% of the planet, and by doing so stealing other country's resources, exploiting their workers, and preventing the proper development of the colonized countries. This is why you have so many "developing" countries today. Thankfully, China has managed to rise above the terrible system of imperialism to become a world power today that is now challenging the now old, withering Western empires.

@@rentablesyrop6896 Nah. We need to look beyond the surface. The world wars were started because of the overcapacity of industrialisation under capitalism. Fascism and what not appeared for a reason. It is not subjected to human will. It is subjected to the economic base. The infamous 100 million death under communism thing probably comes from the black book of communism. Yet they count Nazi deaths as "victims of communism", civilian deaths of the vietnam war started by the US as "victims of communism", lower fertility rates as "victims of communism" and so on. If we use the same standard to the US or capitalism in general, the death toll will be much much higher than just 100 million. Under global capitalism, all economic activities are driven by profit. Dispite having enough food (agricultural) production, millions of people in the third world die of starvation, while tons of food were thrown into the rubbish bin in the "developed world". That is because it is not profitable for capitalist corporations to feed the poor. Instead, it is more profitable to overexploit the third world. Also, with the endless war and political instability in the third world supported by the US to maintain the status quo, how many people do you think it killed?
