Glad to see there are still some descendants of the Native brothers and sisters to the north of us, albeit low blood quantum or not.... their struggle and sacrifices for survival were not in vain.❤️😎✌🏽
Thank you for your feedback. We will pass along the information to the Native advisory council we worked with on the oral history project and exhibit this video is a part of. For more information on it, you can visit our web site listed above.

I feel the same way no matter how far we are from our roots the memory and the spirit of our ancestors remimds us of who we truly are and mother earth is always comunicating her love for us with every breathe, a cool breeze a cold drink of water a sweet smell of blooms in the air its a true blessing to be connected all we have to do is listen. Aho sister Mitakuye Oyasin all my relations.
Aho! I am Mexican with deep spiritual roots to my ancestry and Native culture. Your story as mine are similar.
You are on Tataviam , Chumash & Tongva Land 🫡✊🏽🪶
Her last name is spelled with a "z" not an "s"
I am from the paiute shoshone rezervation in. the 760 and we are told as kids that Los Angeles Native people are our relations . Our uto aztecan language was once strong . Multiple words have same meaning.. but the universal dialect is lost.. all the mounted indians spoke Uto aztecan. They took the horse and replaced it with the bible. Now we all not the same.. but when you test your dna. You will see great basin Blood!
