'L' appuntamento' is a well known Italian song, it is the Italian version released in the 1970 by Italian singer Ornella Vanoni of 'Sentado à Beira do caminho' a Portuguese song. The song is full of melancholia and sad thoughts but the melody can make you dream and think about our lives, hidden thoughts and feelings, a lost love or perhaps a sensation of coming and going, without any reason life goes on and on and our journey never ends. I put the translation of the lyrics below..
