A constructor can be private in C++ There are a few reasons why we might want to make a constructor private: To prevent users from creating invalid objects. To force users to use a factory method to create objects. To implement a singleton pattern. class MyClass { private: MyClass() {} // private constructor public: static MyClass* Create() { return new MyClass(); } }; In this example, the constructor is private, so it cannot be called directly. Instead, the Create() method is used to create a new instance of the class. Constructors are mostly declared in the public section of the class though they can be declared in the private section of the class. It is important to note that private constructors can still be called by friend classes.
