KZ x HBB DQ6s Review - When Old Becomes New Again
The KZ DQ6 marked somewhat of a departure for KZ both in terms of driver compliment and tuning. While I did find the original DQ6 enjoyable it was not without its failings.
The DQ6 returns as the KZ x HBB DQ6s, a retuned version by a well known individual in the ChiFi audio space. Does the DQ6s bring tangible improvements over it's predecessor? Spoiler alert: Yes it does.

After watching so many reviewers out there, I think I’ve come to trust your ears the most.
I love the look and will be buying it for that.
Just received my pair yesterday and had a most enjoyable listening session of Saor Patrol. They handled the drums and bag pipes with aplomb.
flatmate bought the Crin version and was my first time trying an iem i was pretty impressed how well it sounded although a little cool and too flat for my liking and i saw the hbb's come out a few days later so i;ve orderd them and cant wait to try them.

Owning reecho sg01 is it advisable to get this set? I looove thumpy bass plus how does it fair with tripowin x hbb olina?

@@Mykeoguns the Olina has just been released and unfortunately I don't have it as yet but I did order one. I don't see the DQ6s as an "upgrade" to the SG01, they have different sound signatures. How do you like the SG01 btw?

@@siliconsoundz I like analytical sound which it does have, it failed in having that "wow" factor in its ally plus it doesn't have enough bass for some of my music library though its fun.
I just started watching reviews about IEMs before i buy one. And the one that iam aiming to buy is the Kz zs10 pro, Can i just get some advice if which is better. Is the Zs10 pro or the DQ6s or the Kz X Crinicle?

@@exkoi I'm pretty sure that's only the case for the Zex Pro? I was under the impression the DQ6s weren't even connected and incased in glue/resin to top if off. They were marketed as having 3 working drivers. Smells pretty fake to me.

I don't own the Mele. I would choose the T3+ over the DQ6S

An IEM even the Bad Boy himself made a video to disassociate with. What a fiasco! The problem isn't just the blocked vents (they said it's covid 19 related manufacturing defect), it's the 2 back driver doesn't even produce sound.

Yes this is true. But still sounding good. One wonders what it could have sounded like if more care was taken or better yet, just make it a single DD.
