There is no Feed line. This is an NVIS antenna where the dipole is directly connected to the radio.

Ah, a great design and not one so large it fills an entire suitcase like some. I like that. If you've not done it already, you might do one on the VHF voice radios used by the French resistance to talk to an aircraft high overhead. If they located themselves in a low spot, ground-based German radio-direction finding stations couldn't pick them up, but the plane could. Voice also allowed a quicker exchange of information.

The JE or Joan Eleanor portable radio, voice messages were recorded on a wire recorder aboard the over flying aircraft.

Wish I could find some old war radios to play with.... KM4KDH 😀

I thought this was original. This one has resistors with color code too. We will investigate this further. Possibly this was also produced after WW2 ?. I'll check.

@@LA6NCA TNX for answer! Seems some of them are produced after WW2 in Sweden.They have also been used as late as 1960.

Voiko tommosen rakentaa ite.. muistan venttiseiskan ja sen lyijjypainon mitä viskeltii puuhun... sanoma läpi ja raakaa voimaa käyttäen revittiin sitä ales puusta... se kyynel sana niille jotka ei tiedä johtu siitä mollivoittosest "uikuttavast äänest"... olis kiva titailla ku kantomatkat suht pitkiä!!??.. et kuka vastaa ja missä... intissä oli jonkusortin Sirad juttu... mut en oikee muista enää🤔... täytyypä muistella ja ettiä tietoo... töpöllä ei vissiin tee enään mitään yx puolinen rulla☺..
