Kyrie 4 Big Kids Basketball shoe review and comparison to the Men's shoe

Watch to find out the details about the Kyrie 4 Big Kids shoes and how they are different and the same as the Men's version. The Big Kids version has a slightly lower price but the technology is definitely not the same as the Men's version.

I think price plays a huge role, but also that kid feet aren’t the same as adult feet. Adults need more support and they’ll use the shoes longer. Whereas kids need to feel the ground, and they’ll use them for a maximum of a year. It’s interesting to see a side by side though, thanks Tiffany!

Nice vid! The material difference on the upper depends on the colourway, some of the latest had full mesh but all the first releases like this grey/green Boston colourway had the mid/back panel in leather/suede /nubuck depending on the released colour, they also said midsole was cushlon , interesting to know that they used a softer foam on Gs size, well since they removed the heel zoom at least that lol

Great review. I’m an adult and teeter between GS and Adult size. Unfortunately shoe manufacturers never disclose the difference between adult and GS shoes. Thank you so much for this review. Please keep them coming.

I had the exact same colorway in this kyrie4. It was comfortable, but the left shoe dug into the side of my foot even going up a half size (13.5). The size 14 fits great, just looks huge on foot. Love your reviews. You always cover it all. Keep it up.

I realized the difference in tech between the GS versions to the adult versions when I was buying basketball shoes for my buddy's kid (I"m his unofficial uncle that hooks him up with nikes haha)...and I thought it was interesting that for the price point paid for GS versions, the tech was such a huge difference. Granted this was a few years ago and he's now wearing mens sizing. I, however, had big ass feet as a kid (a mens size 8 when I was 8 years old...I grew into them eventually) so I never really experienced having to wear GS version shoes and so I had no idea that's how it was.

I hate how they don't use the same tech in the smaller sizes being that I play basketball, I'm forced to play with a 7.5.

can you please do a comparison with the Kyrie 5s? I suspect the youth version also does not contain the same technology (being Nike Air Zoom Turbo)

Someone needs to start making proper sneakers for kids rather than just shrinking down the adult versions. The materials used in the shrunk down versions are often the same as the adults', but the relative thickness to the shoes' small size means they would feel much harder.

interesting , maybe to make the shoe cheaper

Wow, talk about a rip off. I thought that the kids one had at least an air bag on the heel. Materials depend on the colourways (my BHM has leather) but overall I would be really annoyed if I knew that for $20 you take pretty much all the tech out of the shoe. Insane. Cool vid Tif though as always.
