This harmony and style simply blow you away. The opening bars of Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" is a perfectly creative introduction.

The second Modzitzer Rebbe, Shaul Yedidya Elazar Taub (1886-1947), fled Poland, traveled via Vilna, Lithuania, and Russia to Japan, and then arrived in San Francisco. In 1940, he settled in Williamsburg and began to rebuild his Hasidic court. The Rebbe was a prolific musical composer, creating more than 700 compositions.

Yep, Der Rebbe zischer barach misakanah, ve'azav et hasidav l'mavet. Hilul. Bizayonl.Ve'achar kach, mipi gezel v'sheker, halach livnot Pach v'Chilul b'Nueva Yorke. Nice tune, though, so he had something, at least - if he really composed it, though i doubt the murdered ones were in much of a position to appreciate its beauty.

Anybody want to help me figure out what are all the songs referenced in this video? I know that the beginning is kiss from a rose by seal, and then at 2:11 its the pirates of the carribean theme, then at 2:52 its the theme for Harry potter, and then at 5:02 its the lord of the rings theme, and in between is mixed in the main havdalah theme by debbie freedman, but there are other songs mixed in that I have never heard of before. Can someone tell me?

Charlotte Rushing Roberts English translation: "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." (Isaiah 12:2-3) "Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah." (Psalm 3:8) "The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah." (Psalm 46:7) "O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee." (Psalm 84:12) "Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call." (Psalm 20:9) "The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour." (Esther 8:16) May we have the same. "I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord." (Psalm 116:13) Blessed are You, God, our Lord, King of the universe, Creator of the fruit of the vine. Blessed are You, God, our Lord, King of the universe, Creator of the different spices. Blessed are You, God, our Lord, King of the universe, Creator of the fire’s lights. Blessed are You, God, our Lord, King of the universe, who separates between the holy and the profane; between the light and dark; between Israel and the other nations; between the seventh day and the six days of the week. Blessed are You, God, who separates between the holy and the profane.
