I agree 2s is plenty fun on this truck. 3&4s and it tries to self destruct 😂

@@ShenRC I miss running mine. I put the servo on axle conversion on it, and the hot racing servo saver broke. Got another one but I loctited the screw into the servo and I can’t get it out. Any suggestions?? I hate to ruin a high torque servo

@@IowaBudgetRCBashers yeah that stinks I don't now how you can get it out but a thought maybe take the servo apart and take the big gear out it screws into and maybe from behind the threads of the screw may be out the back and you can heat it up if it's metal and use a needle nose plyers and get it out? maybe try drilling it with a small drill all else fails maybe you can buy a new gearset for it? don't know any other way.

That is more than enough speed and acceleration for that chassis. I have seen videos of it on 4s and it's insane. 3s would be good for a laugh, but general running and doing tricks, 2s will do. Great video mate 👍

Yeah my friend had the original one it probably was slower than this version on 2s they weren't super fast like they are today.

I like my Clod, but Kyosho's a better solution (out of the box). Thanks for showing Steve. 2s is just right.

It sure is, this monster is so light for it's size that's why it pulls wheelies and flips up and over so easy even on 2s it can still do it! Thanks for looking.

LOL 18mph and any faster it breaks 🙂Funny I run my Maxx on 3s not 4s and that's too fast on 3s for me. It does seem fast enough to me to be fun and not flipping over all the time.

Yeah this things crazy it got so much low end power it still flips up and over on 2s that's the problem anything more is just bonkers!! the maxx is more planted down it's probably so much more weight than this truck it's so light side plates and links no weight on it. Thanks bud.

How fast do you The nitro version can go on 20% nitro and could you see that one breaking just as easy going over 25 mph? I still have one brand new in the box!

Hi the nitro version probably goes 35 MPH it's fast with the 3 speed but I think it don't take a beating like the brushless instant power so I actually think the nitro won't break as much because the motor and clutch slips and it has way less torque than the brushless system version.

@@ShenRC sounds about right with the weight! yeah the brushless motor version of truck uses a different kind of speed more quick power acceleration
