As a life-long fan of all things Transformable, I have no interest in the Power Rangers, but because I enjoy your reviews so much, I watched this. You are doing a great job on the reviews. I love the humor and admire the fact that you keep the language clean. That's something I can't do, so again, hat's off to you and keep 'em coming.

Kyoryu translates to dinosaur so instead of kyoryu you can say dino black or any other of the rangers.

Kyoryu Cyan's actually a native to Japan, ie, he's lived there most of his life. Although, there HAS been an American Senshi, Jiraiya, Ninja Black of Kakuranger. Also a series you might like, it's a kind of stupid silly series as well.

The legs don't fold as easily on the US versions, why they didn't pay closer attention to the originals, IDK. I might be able to get mine to fold if I trim some of the plastic, but I'd risk breaking them, so I'll live with them as is.

lucky for you bandai japan just released a dx jyudenshi set with all 23 batteries and 3 extras so you might want to get that before bragigas arrives

Lol im gonna be one of the Kamen Rider fan that are is gonna recommend you a Rider show. You should totally check out Kamen Rider Agito if you want a more adult power ranger like show.

I'm with ya man, it's easier to use power rangers terminology, they change what the mechs are called every time they change rangers in super sentai and Japanese is tough enough already for people who aren't really trying to learn. The only real difference is plot, and higher quality writing and acting in Sentai

Emgo its all good we will always have certain people that may or may not understand what the differences are between Sentai and Power Rangers. For me though when it comes to buying the toys and getting show accurate/better built stuff I'm gonna buy Sentai everytime. Also I would of liked Dino Charge more if they had the jingle come from the morpher and the dance. But that's just my opinion though 7 years to late but better late than never.

I get the impression he started with Gokaiger, though I could be wrong.

No super senti stared in 75 Power rangers stared years later so if you see zuranger the Japanese mmpr the green super senti died a horrible death

On the American version the Raptor's tail opens like Wolverine's claws. It kinda is something the American version did better.

To be honest I don't think most people notice but Super Sentai has repeated a few themes over and over like three series have had a dinosaur or two as well as some other prehistoric animals they've had multiple ninjas multiple cars trucks all stuff like that even common animals only if you series of not really gone the route of being exactly the same like magiranger was mythical creatures the one in with the cubes was basically animals in Cube form but none of them had done before and if I remember correctly Go-Buster mixed cars with freaking animals vehicles with animals that's different and to be honest I don't think I've seen any Egyptian themed things again All Birds Power Rangers was weird though didn't Japan already have an anime with 5 people that were superheroes in bird costumes and I'm doing a Samurai's thing was definitely different well as the main theme anyways in space was the only one that I think was solely in space not sure about the one that was copied to make Lost Galaxy I know not all Source is the exact same concept as the is the exact same concept as the ones that is the exact same concept as what they become over here
