Why is it ALWAYS the same dancers who are in the final ? While I have already seen some of the best dancers who have been eliminated before. I have the impression that there is favouritism !!! In short, nothing is right. Yet another competition to boycott😢

@@arturobandini5816 Except here Kyoka, usually all dancers who have a more international career never win this kind of competition in Japan. Yass, Yusei, Osaam, Tenju, Kento,... it's ALWAYS the same old dancers who judge and win. This is Japan's big problem. No objectivity

@@arturobandini5816 Recently Majid participated in Dance alive but was eliminated by a Japanese man and he had even criticized the judgment of the Japanese on instagram. Maika kyoka's partner has participated several times but is always eliminated by the same dancers (Osaam, Tenju, Yusei,...) and also in other Japanese competitions while abroad she is considered the best female dancer. After in the youngest there is for example Miyu, ... This is also valid for many other competitions in Japan. For example the juste debout (hiphop) where every year it is the same ones who win the preselection in Japan (yass yusei) but have never won the grand final in France. And what also shocked me was that they had eliminated rushball in 2013 at the Preselection in Japan while rushball is the only Japanese team to have made it to the final in France and several times (2009,2012) and win (2016). The Japanese are not at all objective and favor their old male dancers. In hiphop especially

@@mayalady4075 while what you said about the competitions in Japan not being fair might be true, I do not agree that Miyu’s and Maika’s eliminations in 2020’s finals were unfair. Rushball might be two of the best female hiphop dancers around, but that doesn’t mean they’re better than everybody else in Japan. I’ve seen all videos of the 2020’s finals and Maika losing to Tenju was the right decision from the judges. What you said about featuring the same dancers every year is not entirely true, it’s especially wrong when you also named Tenju. 2020 is the very first year Tenju got into the final of Dance Alive. If you don’t believe me, you can search ‘Dance Alive history’ to confirm this. Same for Miyu’s lost against Takuya, it was also in the right. Both Takuya and Tenju are also young hiphop dancers (not old at all, about the same age as Rushball) who are just as promising and talented as Kyoka. If you ask me, in my opinion, these guys could perform more physically difficult moves than the girls in general. And I think it’s right to consider that as their winning points in competitions, not to mention they have their own charming styles as well. I’m not saying that female dancers couldn’t win against males. My point is, everyone has their own strong suit and in competitions how well they perform also partly based on luck. So winning or losing, we can only fairly decide when we’ve considered all factors of the performances carefully. And my verdict for these battles (Miyu’s and Maika’s) are the same as the judges. However, the final is truly unfair (Takuya and Tenju also have not won yet, while Kyoka only once till now). This year Majid’s lost in the preliminary is also unfair so I agree about that. I think competitions everywhere being more or less unfair is probably not something that we can prevent. How unfair exactly could be different for different cultures and different countries (for example, in Japan, judges might automatically prefer older dancers, while in other places, the dancers’ reputation might be more important than their performances. This is just my guess, I don’t know it for a fact.), but one thing that we can always be sure about is that the best dancers in the scene will eventually be featured in the biggest competitions. And I think winning is not the most important thing. At least for me as an audience, I’m happy just to see good dancers doing their thing in battles. Even if they lose, it doesn’t mean the end to their passion and career as they already gain fans and supporters like me. Besides just the fact that they’re featured in biggest competitions already means that the entire scene has acknowledged their talents. Even if the scene is a bit corrupted, that doesn’t mean that truly good dancers are poorly treated, as the scene understands well that in order for it to develop more, these dancers cannot be missed, regardless of whether they’re allowed to win or not.
