Does the X Town 300 develop a significant vibration at 65 mph?

U can increase the top speed by doing minor modification on the multivariator and use dr.pulley sliders and stiffer tork spring. I've done that on my bike which is modenas elegan 250 (rebadged from x-town 250) and managed to get almost 140 kmh at 7.2k rpm

Actually, just by buying the kit of Malossi which includes the variator, the spring and 2 sets of 6 pulleys, you can get that result and it doesn't cost that much. But, I don't know how long it will last.

Actually is is battery voltage, there is no temperature sensor.

You guys need to stop buying scooters and expect it to be fast. Even though 72mph is slow for any 300cc motor… it’s a scooter. You want speed and power with the same displacement get an r3. They top out at like 110-115. Maybe even a bit more.

Well, because I own a Kymco X-Town 300, the video doesn't do it just. The way it reaches its top speed goes like this : - 100 kph at 6000 rpm - 110 kph at 6800 rpm - 120 kph at 7400 rpm - 130 kph at 8000 rpm It can go smoother at high speeds,but for some reason Kymco made the scooter have short gear ratios and you reach maximum horsepower quite soon. In order to achieve smoother and less viby ride at high speeds, you should just modify the variator. You can make the inside spots smoother, where the rollers sit, using a dremel, so that the rollers could go higher and push the belt even higher. And, trim the outside ring around the bushing by a few millimetres, so that the variator comes closer to the half pulley and also push the belt higher. And no need to spend money on more expensive rollers or change the weight of them. The original ones will do just fine.

can you please clarify the trim part? does the part that need to trim few mm is the lenght of the bushing? I don't know if I understand it correctly. hehe

Is this really xtown 300? The panel guage look like xtown 300. But topspeed only 125kph????...

No no i have this scooter and goes up to 140. You did something wrong with this scooter or the scooter is not normal. It has good speed. This video in badinformating

Είμαι γύρω στα 3.8 λίτρα ανά 100 χλμ. Δηλαδή, με 12.5 λιτρα ντεπόζιτο βγάζω μονιμα πάνω απο 300 χιλιόμετρα αυτονομία, όσο γρήγορα κι αν το πηγαίνω. Από άλλους έχω ακούσει μικρότερα νούμερα, αλλά το έχω κοιτάξει με διαφορετικά στυλ οδήγησης και καθε φορά εβγαζα 310 με 350 χιλιόμετρα αυτονομία.

@@georgem2456 KYMCO XCITING 300i 2014 MODEL εχω, 28 HP μαμα κ εχω δει 162 τελικη χωρις κοντρα αερα... Με κοντρα αερα 150... καταναλωση οσο λες... αλλα ρε φιλαρακι ζημιαρικο πολυ.. Αλλα, τα υπολοιπα 300ρια τα εχει για πλακα..

@@georgem2456 Στα 10.000 χτυπησε καμπανα και πολλα αλλα.. δεν θυμαμαι, αλλα πληρωνα συνεχεια.. Ειχε ληξει και η εγγυηση.. καθε 1.000 με 2.000 θελουν τριψιμο τα φερμουιτ γιατι πατιναρει... τωρα εχει 13.000 χιλ, μοντελο 2014 κ εχω να το καβαλησω 2.5 χρονια που πηρα συνταξη.. μονο λαδια αλλαζω κ μπαταριες.

@@user-ie3rs8sn1i Στο συγκεκριμένο εχει θεμα η καμπανα του. Απλα βάζοντας Malossi για καλύτερη επαγωγή θερμότητας και αλλάζοντας τα παπουτσάκια στο συμπλέκτη, λύνεται το θεμα του τριψιματος,των ήχων και των σκορτσαρίσματων. Ελπίζω πάντως εγώ με το X-Town να μην έχω τέτοια θέματα,αλλα και να έχω, αρκεί να είναι μικρά τέτοια και οχι στον κινητήρα.

@@calgary2800 I have the 300 and top speed is 130. I had the scarabeo300 previous and top speed was 140 maybe 145. But as I watched the video he was going above 120km and he writes in the left 116km...

fast like my old xmax 125

300ccm and only about 115km/h, funny!

Your 114kph are on the kymco screen not gps it's more 102kph gps... and with the face wind or uphill it's more 88kph gps (i own an x town city 125)

Λαθος φιλαρακι.. Εκτος και ριχνεις και στο ΧΤ660.. 162 ΤΕΛΙΚΗ εχει το 300αρι KYMCO XCITING 2016 χωρις κοντρα αερα.. αλλα εχει και αρκετα προβληματα λογω δυναμης 28 HP.. Γι΄αυτο στα καινουργια κοψανε αλογα 22HP. Kαι απο καταναλωση 3.5 λιτρα στα 100.. Ευχαριστω !!!

130 με μπαγκαζιερα, αν εσυ είσαι 200 κιλα δεν σου φταίει.
