    I once owned a Piaggio MP3 400. The Italians pioneered the idea of a three wheel scooter with two wheels at the front and tilting suspension that can be locked at low speed so the rider doesn't need to put their feet down when they bike is stopped. The Piaggio was plenty powerful but I think the 550 version would be better. I like the look of the Kymco especially side cases and top box. I feel there could be more space under the seat and the screen could be wider and electrically adjustable. Thank you for your walk around. Enjoy riding it.

    The locking system on this bike is not as superior as the Piaggio one. They use completely different systems. Hydrolic vs Brake locking. however, its also lighter and gets better fuel to weight ration pound for pound.

    Thank you for this video, I didn't know the CV3 had a in-line twin engine. To me that makes it BETTER than a Piaggio.

    Thank you for your kind words. And yes it is better but the hydrolic system in the Piaggio is more robust and stable albeit the extra weight and complex repairs if enything goes wrong.

    I noticed the width is 960mm vs Yamaha Tricity 300 at only 815mm. That's 14.5cm difference which is a lot when it comes to lane splitting. Do you face any issues?

  • @magyeo5525

    @magyeo5525

    i have no problems lane splitting but i must say lane splitting really depends on the skill of the rider. It certainly is not a skinny bike, the plus point is that we get alot of lane visibility.

    It looks a great machine. I think the rear case looks too big for it, but they do one to where the rear seat is. The side cases look great. Not too wide. Was there a lot of tax on this in Singapore?

  • @magyeo5525

    @magyeo5525

    9 ай бұрын

    The taxes in singapore is ridiculous. Even before buying the bike we need to bid for a certificate to own the bike for 10 years. And this certificate is currently about $10,000 USD. We have not talked about the import taxes yet. Hence this bike cost about $35,000 USD in singapore.

    This is AK 550 with two wheels in front, it's an interesting bike but lacks functionality, no space under the seat no pockets at front for a smartphone or other small things and too small front wheels for it's size. Why they didn't put larger wheels at front like Yamaha did with tricity? It's way more stable in corners, it makes NO sense.

  • @magyeo5525

    @magyeo5525

    Жыл бұрын

    After riding for a month, I agree on the funtionality. But what it lacks on funtionality, it doubles on safety, I feel really stable on this bike and with another wheel in the front, it certainly is very comforting to lean into corners. The top box at the back as well as the panniers solves all the storage issues. I was asking the same question on the small front wheels too and realised that having bigger font wheels would affect the turning radius. Basically, the bigger the front wheels, the bogger the turning radius. Try the niken and you know what I mean. I believe this bike is build to be aesthetically pleasing, hence the way it looks. Anyway, so far am enjoying the ride and size too. Thanks for commenting ;)

    @@JustforFun-cb7bo Hi Hi, sorry for the late reply. It feels like a normal bike on bumps so nop difference there, the cornering is extremely stable and confident, accelerating is suprisingly good and this bike can really go high speed (160km/h). the wind protection is actually awesome for me. I am short thoiugh about 1.7m. if you are taller, the windscreen can be adjusted up. The only thing that i dont really like is the vibrations on the handle bar i get when i am travelling at 110km/h to 140km/h. although its still rideable without much concern of its safety.
