Kylo is a very interesting character. He's lost, he doesn't know what to do. he's a very different character we haven't seen in Star Wars before, Kylo is so underrated it's sad. like if Kylo is your favorite character.

Victoria C it wasn’t for nothing, he became the strongest jedi ever and fulfilled the prophecy while also fulfilling The skywalker legacy by bringing ray back to life. He defeated the dark side by keeping ray in the light and gave his own life to fulfill the prophecy. He’s the best character ever lol.

The reason he was the strongest Jedi, is because he brought someone back to life using the force which has never been achieved before. The only legend about that was when palpatine manipulated and lied to Anakin about the powers of the dark side

@@santeeatherton3542 I'm not sure if Rey was really dead, for me it looked more like power transfer ... Rey did the same before. Don't get me wrong Ben is not weak but not as strong as Yoda for example and for me the strongest Jedi is Anakin, he had the highest number of Midi-Chlorians, clearly he could not realize his potential as a Jedi or a Sith but he was nevertheless theoretically the strongest Jedi.

@@shap7296 rey was trained by leia and luke .... Ben is also much better at lightsaber fighting, in episode 7 he only "lost" because he wasn't fighting seriously. Rey is not weak but not in the top 5 strongest jedis.

The greatest character in Star Wars history. Adam’s acting is better than even Harrison fords acting. He’s killed more people on screen than Vader. He’s used a cooler (and seemingly more powerful) power in the force than any other force user. His hand touch with Rey in the force Skype far surpasses even Leia and Hans first kiss in Empire. His style is bad ass and his lightsaber has more “character” and meaning than some of the other characters written in the original trilogy or the prequels combined. This character in my opinion, is the greatest character in all of Star Wars.

Darth Vader he knows the dark side. He is filled with rage and mixed emotions. His insanity is clearly seen. He is fully immersed. But he just hasn’t focused that anger in a direction yet.

Say what you will about the new trilogy, or even Kylo as a character. Adam Driver has conveyed the most convincing on screen anger I’ve ever seen. He’s definitely the highlight of the new trilogy in terms of acting. The tone of voice he uses. The way he’s able to switch his tone on a whim in a convincing manner. All of it. That line at the end when he told Rey to stop holding on, and to let go is the perfect example of what I’m talking about.

Unfortunately he took after anakin more than the rest of the Skywalker did, it's why he related so strongly with Vader, he didn't choose to be bad but was merely forced to, then it became about not being able to turn back, anakin couldn't coz he thought he killed padme and kylo couldn't face him mom having killed his dad, depression and the urge for redemption is the Skywalker curse

Kylo is so relatable people only see the dark side because of how Star Wars been based on bad vs good but honestly who knows what’s good or bad anymore kylo still feels but to be at war with your self is the hardest battle you could ever fight his actions tell it all power isn’t everything it’s trying to find himself and a place to put his pain and move on. Kylo is my favorite character. I see so much potential in his story. If I was in charge of the story for the trilogy I'd go more In depth with bens inner struggle with the light and darkness and with the fact that he killed his father and couldn't bare to see his mother again, to truely go into his character. I WANT TO SEE TRUE EMOTION. In general I feel like they were all rushed and all the characters couldve experienced more love. (When leia reached out to ben in the new one :\ ... reys lightsaber training and usage couldve been a whole thing in itself, a backstory convincing fans that lukes ONLY choice was to go into hiding and it wasn't just a shitty idea, *lightsabers doing actual damage* etc.) It couldve had such potential, *But atleast we don't have sith jar jar binks ami right?*

Ben Solo is my favorite Star Wars character. spoilers for ROS below I know, a sequel character, really? Ben’s inner torment and conflict, his desire to live up to Vader, his love for his family, his connection to Rey, everything is tearing him apart and he doesn’t know what to do. Palpatine manipulated him, and Luke’s fear of what Ben could become caused Luke to not realize what he was doing. Ben was scared, and had to embrace the darkness not because he was manipulated, but because he felt Luke didn’t trust him. Ben’s love for his family drove him as well, and he gave his life for Rey Ben Solo was a real hero. He overcame the darkness inside him, he overcame his fears, and he did the right thing in the end.

The only reason I will watch the sequels. Adam Driver absolutely nailed this role and Kylo is one of my favourite Star Wars characters ever (and I don’t like the sequels apart from TFA) I just love him. His arc is heartbreaking and amazing. Incredible. I have spoken.

My dad didn't like him when he first started watching the new movies because him following in Vader's foot steps disrespected how Vader chose to die. I disagreed, because I recognized the reality of Ben's character. That is the reality of war, people will cherry pick the lessons they learn from their heroes to justify their actions and reassure themselves that what they are doing is right, there will be people on both sides that don't understand the hypocrisy of what they are fighting for, there will be people that will choose what they believe to be right over their family, there will be people that have to face the reality that their side is killing people that they can relate to. Kylo embodied that beautifully, even when writing failed him.

If any of you guys haven't heard the guy singing it, it is NF. If you haven't heard of him, give him a listen, he's amazing
