I had seen pockets of people here and there saying, that Tension featured bombastic production throughout as a way to hide the fact that Kylie’s voice was finally starting to decline with age. I knew right off the bat that, that was bull - but here she is shutting that talk down even harder. “Story” has one of the highest key changes mid verse on the album, hitting almost complete falsetto, yet here she is hitting those heights with ease and it is clear that the mic is ON 👏🏼👑 say whatever you want about Kylie Minogue, but at the end of the day her ability and technique are always top tier!! She was having so much fun with this performance. This era has been such an emotional high for her and I am eating it up!!
