Tobias It is typical for french people to be horrible at speaking English. If you ask for directions in France they don’t answer you in English even if they’re capable of speaking it because they are too proud and arrogant.

Actually the english in france has gotten a lot better over the years, since I live in europe I go there often, and especially in Paris, they sometimes won’t even speak french with you anymore if you are foreign, which surprised me a lot

Pedda Griffin i noticed that too... my French is really bad as I’m German and French people really don’t like it when you speak to them in English. They themselves avoid speaking English, meanwhile in Germany pretty much every second word is no longer German, but English. Hell we even take English words and „make“ them German by force 💀

Ja, besonders in der Jungendsprache sind viele Wörter dem Englischen entlehnt oder werden sogar komplett übernommen, aber Sprache ist ständig im Wandel. Solange damit nicht übertrieben wird, kann ich das tolerieren :D

Das ist so ein krasser kulturelle Unterschied, ich mein ist schließlich unser Nachbarland 😂. Deutsche Jugend spricht mehr arabisch, türkisch, englisch gemischt mit ein wenig deutsch, als richtiges deutsch
