Natalie Morales joins Kyle Meredith to talk about her role in Jake Johnson’s Self Reliance, a movie that find’s Jake’s character Tommy faced with the opportunity to win big money if he can survive a dark web reality game show. While comedy is in no short supply, Morales, as Tommy’s ex-girlfriend, discusses the film’s wide range of genres and her friendship with Jake. The Parks & Recreation and Morning Show actress also reveals her deep fandom for Pearl Jam, directing a music video for Andrew Bird, and how music was one of her driving components when directing her film Plan B in 2021.
