The most amazing thing about Dake Is you have Burroughs and Taylor as well near that weight. I honestly think those 3 made each other what they are, the proverbial iron sharpens iron.

These commentators are so much better than those bureaucrat-commentators the Olympics. Both more knowledgeable and exciting! I hope the Olympic committee would permanently replaces those Olympic commentary idiots with these World Championship commentators. The sport of wrestling would have so much more fans and viewership.

Dake is a great wrestler, and congrats to him. I do wish the gold and silver medalists from the Olympics as well as Chamizo were in the field. Would have been a little more sweeter if Dake could have won it with them there too.

@@user-lb2iv9cs2n Я не видел их встречи. Судя по ЧЕ и Олимпиаде, Мухаммадхабиб хорошую форму показывал. Я его лично не знаю. 74 кг хороший вес где конкуренция становится сильнее и тяжелее. Бижоев очень достойно борется. Мне просто нравится борьба атакующая, а У Тимура пассивная. А Салказанова Мухаммадхабиб выигрывал. Сам Таймураз на ЧМ по молодежи в финале если не ошибаюсь Давида Баева выигрывал. В 74 Разамбек , Курбаналиев, Сидаков, Газимагомедов, Сучков, Таваев, Абдулкадыров , Чермен Валиев- это те которых вспомнил. тот же Жербаев если перейдет до 74 , будет интересно.

Nice to see Dake win! He got OWNED in Tokyo when it really counted. Maybe he could trade 10 world titles for a real gold - Olympic GOLD! That's where they all bring their A game!

Seems American wrestling is conditioning, take downs , push push always offense , not much technical stuff

This is freestyle wrestling! I like the push-out rule but those one pointers are not take-downs or great technique. Can't do some techniques without fitness and strength. Jordan B's double legs are explosive, powerful and beautifully timed. Dake gets the ankle pick later in the match and chain wrestling to back points; that is smart, technical wrestling. At this level, everyone is well-scouted and so strong defensively that techniques often won't work until later in a match. Wrestling is a complex sport with strength, fitness, balance, timing, all playing a part. Great wrestlers have to start early and stay in the sport long enough to put together multiple world championship medals, now matter where they come from.
