This is a tribute to Avicii. Kygo’s wearing his hat backwards like Tim did. He’s in his hometown (Norway) visiting his family, like Avicii would be with his in Stockholm. He’s driving his car like it showed Tim doing in the ‘Feeling Good’ music video by Avicii. This song also sounds a lot like it could have been made by Avicii, and I think Kygo made it sound like that for a reason. He also picked Sandro Cavazza as the vocalist for the song. Sandro was a very close friend of Tim’s and sang in a lot of Avicii songs (some unreleased). And the lyrics are about letting someone go, or in Kyrre’s case, saying goodbye to Tim, and hoping he’ll be happy now. My sister recently passed away too young and this was one of her favorite songs. I can remember her and I dancing to this song in the car together, every so often I come back here and watch this video of seeing Kygo with his family, and helps me reminisce on our childhood and great memories together. Thank you for posting this, although I'm so sad to lose a built-in best friend, I'm so grateful to have had the time I had with her and this music video helps me cope

2024 and I still come back to this song for a boost of encouragement.

I remember good old days in 2013-2014.... especially summer.... best times of my life and they will always be. Thanks to Kygo so much, he is the one who changed me... and what music I will listen. Instead of rap I was listening to firestone, stole the show and other great songs. I wish I could bring days when I was actually happy. When I was happy, but I didn’t know that.... I wish I could live back then again and feel how life is changing but it’s been almost 5 years and that number is going to increase forever. I love Kygo with all my heart. Woah literally I flew back to 5 years life,no pandemic just happy childhood days..today I listening to this after like 3 years..peaceful feelings of those childhood days all came back to my mind..when I hear this song Idk how to tell it,I just can't express it by words..when hearing this song,old trips that we went in cold days,thenature, the feelings of freedom I had ,some city days we spent and the things we did and are unexplainable..feels like 5 years back is far away from us,actually it is..pandemic made everything upside down. I wanna feel those feelings again someday.TY kygo,sandro for this masterpiece.

Sandro Cavazza has a great voice that touches a heart, and with these words, it's just incredible.

Most of Kygo's songs area relatable, deep... yet change the sadness/breakups part seems easy to go through it by magical amazing music. thanks Kygo! love you!

I noticed that this song is an Avicii tribute. By the way, Sandro Cavazza has already collaborated with Avicii, and Avicii is Kygo's main source of inspiration. It all makes sense.

This song reminds me of my son😔 lost hime 4 weeks and this one of his fav song. I hope he is happy now in better place!!🙌🏼😞 I miss him so much😢

Since everyone is a stranger here so I just want to share something.. My Love left me saying "I deserve better"..Its very hard but I have to accept the fact that love fades away someday. 🙂So, no ill feelings for Him.. Just hoping that he is happy now 🙂

People comes and goes in life and some may say that people only live once but i refuse to think that cause.. people lives on forever, like Avicii and Stan Lee who just passed away this year, their legacy lives on and they will never be forgotten, and they have thought me that you must first dream to start to the destination youre heading, but if you choose to stop and give up, the regret will bury along with you. Wish all the best to the people out there chasing their dreams and the people who are still searching, i dont believe in faith, but i do believe in myself , that one day i will get there.
