Great video, used it to change mine out. I have a question, I did the same exact thing you did but for some reason when I lowered the car, they pushed up and theres a gap under the top nuts on both sides that hold the shocks on top. When I raise the car again and move the tire up and down the entire shock moves up and down because of the gap. I brought this Yaris 08 they had the gap so I brought the new mounts and bearings but still have the gap,Do you thing someone installed the wrong shocks absorbers?

@@josedanielpg2329 I ended up buying different Strut Mount. The round plate that holds the spring in. My car strut mounts only had the nut in the middle to hold sping. I changed them for the strut mounts that have the 3 bolts facing up and fit in the 3 holes that are on the car. So to remove them in the future, instead of removing the big nut, I remove the 3 smaller nuts.

You can get the top nut off without removing all those parts like he did. But it is t easy!

Exactly, too much work on the wipers not needed

It’s ridiculous all you have to remove to “gain” access to the strut nuts.

You don’t Pass thru socket set will do it, harbor freight 20$ The wipers do not need to come off
