The country was on its knees after the pandemic but somehow they made it even worse which seemed virtually impossible to do. Depends on what you call right. What right wing policies did the conservatives use and how are comparable labour polices different? Remember labours majority, just like the conservatives, does not mean they have the majority of voter support by any means.

Liz Truss loosing her seat wasn't a shock that was obvious that was potentially going to happen. The biggest shock was Jonathan Ashworth loosing his seat.

Easy to miss, but great to see redundant tory boy Andrews Pierce sitting there stewing in his own bile.....

Truss was not going to make a losing speech congratulating the incoming MP. Look at the way she behaved when she won the Tory Party leadership and became PM egotistically looking straight through everyone for her own gain (ignoring Sunak next to her). A very nasty piece of work.
