KW V1 Coilovers Review for the VW Up! GTI!
A review of my Up! GTI KW variant one coilovers and my thoughts and opinions on the set up. These coilovers are not adjustable for damping or rebound just ride height. This set up does cost more money than some other coilovers on the market for example the Bilstein B14's however they do feel really solid to drive with so well worth the £799 I paid for them.
Any questions or opinions please leave them in the comments below!!!

Thanks, yeah it was a one off clearance price on eBay unfortunately. Just keep a look out for any discounts 👍
Looks nice, do you know how low these are set here?

The fronts are about 40mm away from the bottom and I'm not sure about the backs as I haven't touched those.
Heads baked, these or streets, I have streets on order but no stock atm 😢 How much fitted mate?

The ride comfort and compliance between the Bilsteins, and the Kws, are near identical. Actually, the Bilsteins feel slightly firmer than the KWs, and that's from an owner who has a Golf R fitted with the KWs and an Up Gti with the B14s. The reason the KWs are considerably more expensive, is that their made from high grade stainless steel, and will resist corrosion. Either way, both set ups are equally good, and if you want to save the best part of £300, buy the Bilsteins
