Not to disrespect their latest producer(s), but their first album done by Ballou had a far superior sound in my opinion. It’s great to see that they’ve joined back again.

it's a guitar that kurt ballou (the producer/guitarist for converge) has built himself out of various different guitar parts. it's not a dean

The neck is probably a Dean. The body of the guitar is a Fender - Mustang (style) Or maybe a Warmoth replica of the Fender
Im so scared this album will be like Nattesferd (but with better vocals for the record) and be like that weird " well this was something else" album instead of how I would see you continue in the future like a less punky version of yourselfs, which is kinda odd, I want the album to be "Nattesferd with more suitable vocals" but i dont want you to end up like Hallgeir and the rest of PiB, you guys have so goddamn much potential!
Wtf they're in Salem, Mass? Seems so random for a Norwegian band. Pretty rad though they recorded only a few towns away from me.

According to Wiki, It's a session guy. His name is Steve Moore. They also have a guy called Håvard Takle Ohr listed as the new drummer as of this year.

I hope the new album will sound more raw like Nattesferd which has the best sound imo but I doubt it. Pitty....
Sorry but the new record sucks! The first one was the one and only, at least for me.
