He's way more skillful than Messi in dribbling . Messi dribbling is all about using acceleration , balance , close control and stamina to get past defenders . Messi doesn't have to skill flick and use tricks on the ball .

@@Ben256MB Anyone can do any of those "skills" with he same precision and speed. And as for him, they are useless. Not the skill defeats the defender, but the timing, agility and balance. So the guy you replied to is somewhat right, you just have no idea about football :) Getting back to the subject, Kvaratskhelia is nowhere near Messi's level. Neymar was the closest in dribbling for a while, even though still way behind. Kvaratskhelia in essence is like a weaker Neymar all around, but a tad more physical.

Messi can't dribble past two defenders easily because he has lost pace , if you really understand football not every player can do an elastico because it requires a lot of foot work and ball control to pull off . Messi dribbling is very basic and a lot of very good left footers dribble like Messi . Dybala , Robben and Kubo so on . Cristiano still dribbles well because he has footwork .

That’s the longevity he has. Of course ur right he’s not gonna go past multiple players as consistently as he used to because he’s older now. However there’s still times where he does. Especially for Argentina. Also Ronaldo dribbling has low-key been donkey ever since like 2017/18. It’s nowhere near smooth as it used to. It’s just so forced. It’s his attacking instincts that’s helped ever since he joined juve. Apart from Haaland and a little bit of son Heung min, nobody has attacking instincts like ronaldo.
