It's good to visit homeland, but considering the extreme hardship of conditions with kids, it's not worth it, back in Philippines, you would just stay in hotels also, same in US, but if you want to visit tourist spot, like palawan etc, summer is good timing.

What matter most is your safety. There is still a chance to spend another vacation in the Philippines. Plan it wisely, always consider the weather. Minsan naulan sa Luzon starting July to Sept at sa Visayas and Mindanao naman sa October to December, basta within that range po maulan dito sa Pinas at sa US naman winter ang problema. Stay safe always.

I guess the best time to goto the philippines is summer time, so that if taylor will come will enjoy boracay and palawan same with the boyz
