The Project is good but for me, this would create a Catastrophic Environmental Impact someday since Cebu City already suffered a little rain flood, especially in the Guadalupe area. We prayed that this would not happen as climate change is a great concern surely once you defaced the creation of Mother Nature unforeseen consequential tragic events in the future shall not be set aside.

Cities are inevitable as long as population & economic activities grow. If the goal is to lift majority out of poverty, then expect more & bigger residences, as well as more commercial & industrial structures. The solution is not to restrict buildings & developments, but to create the right infrastructure to mitigate the negative impact of development. Stop trying to mimic the environmental nonesense of the affluent west, they're developed, vs Philippines still developing. Find original solutions that befits development goals while protecting the environment. Develop original and innovative mindset & values, not just be a copy cat of the western thought

Just like rice terraces, If done right, The Rise can actually help control or prevent soil erosion, mudslide, and possibly even soil liquefaction, and landslide. May cost a lot to build water diversion channels & retention ponds.

Maganda ang reaction mo sa issue ng project na 'to... Alam ko,pinagaralan din nman ng architect ang structure nito..but then..Wala nman tayo laban sa nature..kung sakali man na Hindi gnun katibay ang structure na 'to against the forces of nature..or..KUNG mkkaapekto sa maraming tao ang pag-utilize sa bundok n to...lalo na kung tagulan...Ang masisisi dito ay yung may idea nito. 😌🙄😏🧐😌

Im sure if this project prosper there will be monterazas 1, 2, 3 all over the pinas and the zoning will be disregarded like Environmental impact lalot mga building officials corrupt and lets face it ang mga titira dito hindi pilipino mga banyaga tulad ng chinese after all the reclamation of all manila bay now mountains what a strategy. Architects must react coz his using Architect term

Maganda ang project kung laging takot mauuna walang maaacomplished .. kapag napagaralan nmn ang lupa at materiales na gagamitin ay subok at siniyasat mabuti yung structure at design .. magandang project yan Makikita nio mga ibang building sa ibang bansa napaka innovative at unique ang mga structure kagaya ng sa dubai at paris

@@MrMisterturtle kea nga daraan sa pagaaral at pagsusuri .. bakit papayagan ba yan ng government kung makakapinsala yan .. kung maaprubahan ibig sabihin maayus ang praject .. ang tinitingnan kc dyan ay yung water system lalo kapag umulan kc sa bundok yan pero kung magagawan yan at may maayus at kongkretong plano why not simulan ang project

@@MrMisterturtle ginawa na yan sa ibang bansa .. yung iba nga tinabunan ang dagat for their project iba pinatag ang bundok .. kea may kasunod yung sinabi ko "kapag napagaralan yung lupa mga materiales at yung structure na itatayo magandang project yan" kapag magbabasa unawain ang buo hindi lang yung isang bahagi salita

Puro mema mga negas. Rice terraces aren't unique to Banawe. They're in many other countries where plantations are carved into mountainous terrains. And with regards to traditional high-density high rise vs low density terraces, what's the assurance that the surrounding land will remain as open spaces. It will either be built up eventually, if privately owned, or squated in by IS if public land. Result is much worse outcome of high density heat island, clogged drainage. Not to mention concrete jungle eyesore
