Wrong, i had a similar setup due to my riven mod, secondary and melee are affected by the fire rate as well, i fixed it with the cannonade mod but if i remove the cannonade mod, its strong but unusable.

thats the moment when you slot in semi-shotgun cannonade mod and enjoy stock firereate without any negatives and positives. because that mod fixes stock firerate to static value that is not afeected by mods + and - firerate and also by skills debuffs like cold proc. for example base weapon firerate would be 2.00 with -20% firerate it would be 1.60 but with this mod in, even with negative/positive 99% firerate mod it will still be 2.00, harrow firerate buff from 2nd skill still 2.00 firerate.

@@Beusta there are 3 of semi-cannonade mods that drop from new corpus moas on uranus from the new event / elevator mission node. One for pistols other for shotgun and one for rifles, and those fit only on guns that don't have some secondary firemode and have only semi firemode. So guns like grinlok, latron, hek, lato, lex, magnus etc.

Negative fire rate on semi weapons Is now on the best negative stats you can wish for on a riven. Because the new mod that locks in it fire rate the gates that negated stat.

I know the pain. I had a strun riven with 188,6 multishot and 197,3 damage. It was perfect. But is also had -84, 5 fire rate and it dropped me on 0,05 fire rate too. Without a wisp for attack speed, the weapon was unusable so I had to roll it. Such a great riven ruined but a debuff

Hey, Cannonade mods exist, but you would be stuck with base fire rate.

Now you can just place shotgun cannonade and get rid of that -fire rate
