I love this song and thank you for posting this song up. This song was one of my father's favorite song and so every time we gathered among the church, we use to sing this song a lot. It brings back so much memories and tears too because my father is now home with the Lord. It reminds me everyday how strong my roots are. It doesn't matter how distant you may be, or how far you've gone, you will always keep coming back to him.

HmongGuitarPlayer, when I turn 39 years of age I realized that: To be totally free, I have to be religious free. I interpret the first commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me.", "me" as myself. That is why God or the Devil never answer me or show themselves to me. Once I free myself from people ideas I have gain time and save my money. I can enjoy the short time that I have in this world and not wasted doing things that we are peer pressure to do. I free myself from everything that I have control over because I realized that nothing die in this world or universe. Everything is always there. Every will last so long and it will transform into something else. Whatever we eat we transform it into energy and human. Everything just recycles, so enjoy life. Heaven is in our own mind, we have total control of how our heaven is like in our own mind. If we don't know that, then we believe in other people's heaven. So create your own heaven, live your own life, free yourself. Test the truth. It is better to know the truth then it is to waste your whole life serving someone.

What I am saying is that, I use to believe everything that people tells me, as a child. It is not until I turned 39 before I have enough knowledge and man enough to find the truth and stand up for what makes sense to me. I just share how I simplify my life so I don't live under the peer pressure of others that is all. Believe what make sense for you and do what you feel is right. After all, our gut feeling is all that we have to guide us. I am just the type of person that lean towards what is physically real and what make sense for all of us while living on earth. I want peace and comfort while I am alive as a human, not after I die. Anyway, enjoy life.
