Welcome to Kusadasi, Turkey! With only one day in Kusadasi, we chose to visit the famous archaeological site of Ancient Ephesus. The Turkish ruins of Ephesus was once one of the largest cities of the Roman Empire and it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We show you what we loved about visiting Ephesus, what we didn't love, and what we'd do differently next time. Of course, we show you the cute Turkish cats we met, too!
Next time, we wouldn't travel to Ephesus on a large group tour. It felt too rushed and we didn't have enough free time to explore. Plus, we spent too much time after Ephesus at a carpet making place where we were pressured to buy rugs. (They're beautiful, but we would rather have spent that time at Ephesus).
