On my third day in Wayanad, I visited two places:
1. KURUVA ISLAND

Spread across 950 acres of forest area, Kuruva island is must-to-visit place in Wayanad. Bamboo rafting is a special activity here.
Timings: 9.30am to 3.30pm (Take note of the timings here).
Entry restricted to only 575 people in a day.
Bamboo rafting costs, 400 Rs. for 20 minutes and 450 Rs. for 30 minutes rafting (max 6 people allowed in a raft).
2. THOLPETTY FOREST SAFARI

21km of forest safari, most thrilling experience. 1 hour safari.
Timings: 7am to 10am and 3pm to 5pm
Either take the 7am jeep safari or the 5pm safari.
Only jeeps are available here; no buses as in Muthanga safari.
Jeep safari costs 2000 Rs. for 4 people. Extra 2 people are allowed for 300 Rs. each.
