the way i got so engaged while watching it that it made me so emotional . As if they werent just playing a match but were fighting for their lives
I find it funny how anime makes simple sports and people and completely makes it a superpowered cutthroat competition(i havent actually seen this anime but dont hate on me)

It's basically what the players feel when they're in the zone. So for instance, take a basketball player. On the outside, they can look calm and collected. On the inside, they can be pumped, in which the anime shows that from the inside out. If you take Haikyuu, a volleyball anime, there's hype in it. Games in real life can be calm and collected, but if you focus on the way the characters thinking that's what it would basically be like

most stuff in kuroko are actually realistic and are based off real nba players, even the zone is a real thing, well apart from the lightning but i dont think anyone can actually see the lightning i think its just there to show the viewers when they are in the zone
