Incredible documentary. I'm guilty of complaining of the situations of my life, then I see how these people live, how little they have and they share with one another and work together. Its sad how nations spend billions on war, but not for peace.

Waaaw. Waaaw what a flashback i spent 9 years from 1990 to 1999in a refugee camp somewhere in Africa. I moved to Melbourne. I am 60 years old and i remember the interviews; one by the UNHCR and the other by the Australian embassy staffer. The interviews were each very laborious.

How is it possible that the US can occupy 1/3 of Syria coincidentally depart with all of the oil illegally and no one say a word

The US is not occupying anything. The US is a crucial ally of Rojava, that is Syrian Kurdistan, and their presence is very important. The people of Rojava welcome the US's presence and when they left them for Turkey's genocidal onslaught the people pelted them with rocks as they were leaving. Kurds have a very positive view of the US contrary to almost everyone else in the middle east. It's when they leave us to be murdered that we get upset not when they are on our side

I just watched the documentary and even though it was insightful and beautiful something buggers me. These “Syrian” refugees as you call them all speak Kurdish. I think it would be good if the documentary actually acknowledged that they are Kurdish people from Syria. As this would enhance the knowledge about Kurdish people in the western countries.

Sorry to say Kurds are not from north Iraq. They’ve invaded and took control over lands that belonged to Assyrians and Yasidy. The media shows them as great people and it’s a lie. Not all are bad but most are. Jews helped them gain more territory from Assyrian and Arab land.
