WoW watching this with tears in my eyes after the sad news hit me that totilas died of a colic today

I just can't see Totilas with an another rider than Edward Gal ! it's just him and that horse there are the perfect match!!!!

Rarely in life will a pairing of animal and human come together so beautifully as in the case of Totilas and Edward Gal. The world wept when the decision to sell Totilas came out. Breaking up this rider and this horse seemed like the world was robbed of seeing this beauty again. I understand the financial reasons for the sale but my heart breaks to think this team will not be together anymore. What fun it was to watch them together. Poetry in Motion witnessed so few times in life. Beautiful!

We never see something like this... Edward and Totilas best team in the world... It would be incredible that they are back together. The magic back!!!!Too much LOVE

totilas est vraiment un des meilleurs chevaux de tout les temps, obtenir un cheval aussi relax que lui est extrêmement rare surtout qu'il faut qu'il rencontre le bon cavalier qui le fasse monter à haut niveau. bravo Totilas tu es vraiment magnifique et majestueux!

Dit is zo'n prachtige kur! Edward, en Totilas zijn zo'n ongeloofelijk goed team samen! Ik heb er maar een woord voor, en dat is GEWELDIG!!! Totilas, is gewoon de legende van de Dressuur. dit is echt mijn paardje !!! ik kom zelf uit nederland

So ein Hammer Pferd ich wüste zu gerne mal die Abstammung =D einfach nur ein Naturtalent.. was da wohl für einen Arbeit drinen steckt.. =) aber man sieht dem Pferd auch an wie viel Spaß er dabei hat (:

mijn merrie is de half-zus van Totilas!!! Ze is een jaar jonger maar toch heeft ze bij haar vorige eigenaar in de Z gereden van Dressuur!!! Ik ben zo trots op haar en haar half-broer is echt super mooi en goed wat een bewegingen!! zij heeft die meegekregen maar door een ongeluk (denken we) heeft ze iets gekregen aan haar rechterachterbeen want daarmee sleept ze nu wat. Maar het strekken kan ze nog! Ze is ook op dezelfde dag als Gribaldi jarig!!!! Nu heeft ze ook al een dochter en zij kan ook wel een aardig straaltje strekwerk!

Laatse nieuws...op 14-10-2010 werd bekend gemaakt dat Totilas is verkocht aan Duitsland!! Een zwarte dag voor alle Nederlandse dressuur liefhebbers.Arme Edward,eerst verkopen ze Gribaldi bij hem vandaan.En nu zijn zoon Totilas.Vader Gribaldi en zoon Totilas zulke toppers onder Edwards hoede.Al dat gróte geld ook altijd!! :(

@retronudel Eigentlich nicht, bei ihm sieht es nur so aus da Totilas einen sehr breiten und kurzen Hals hat. Aber gut, Edward Gal ritt ihn immer relativ eng, aber eigentlich noch nicht so krass das es schmerzhaft wäre.

@LovelySnoopyCoos I didn't even know about that. I just looked it up Paul Schockemöhle has some deep pockets, I just didn't think it was that deep! I hear rumors of 21 million US dollars for him. 2012 Olympics is coming and Totilas will be with Germany. Sad, poor Edward I know it is hurting him. Hopefully he can still ride him, I don't think Paul would want to separate such a great team. Not if he is smart.

Ruiter en Paard, geld maakt de combinatie niet, ruiter en paard maken de combi. Je kunt lezen en schrijven met een paard of je kunt het niet, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat de ruiter met een ander paard ook kan lezen en schrijven en dat het paard de ruiter kan leren lezen en schrijven. Het moet elkaar liggen anders kun je beidde nog zo goed zijn maar haal je niet uit elkaar wat erin zit.

@MissHoneyHoney ich habe genug ahnung von der biomechanik .nach welcher ich auch reite .einige dinge sind reiterlich möglich andere sind reine pudeldressur.

@thekleeblaettchen Stimmt genau. In der Piaffe gefällt mir z.B. Laura Bechtolsheimer ihr Mistral auch ne Klasse besser. Totilas HH ist hier nämlich, insbesondere jetzt bei Rath kaum aktiv. Kommt kaum aus dem Boden..

I really like the horse and the way it moves but I don´t like the way it´s being ridden! He always looks as if he´s being strangled and I can´t really enjoy watching his rides therefore because I feel too sorry for Totilas!

edward is so much better then rath and you know you can buy a great horse but if the rider sucks like rath the horse is also nothing edward and totilass were 1 and so edward is the best

What the f*** is Matthias doing with totilas? in every century once is a rider-horse couple like Edward Gal and Totilas! Matthias cant ride him as well as Edward Gal did!

@rooszz0123450 Nee. Matthias geeft Totilas veel meer ruimte voor, wat bij Gal niet het geval is. Matthias laat hem ook veel losser lopen, beter dan Gal die hem als een opgefokte showpony die zich zelf knock out probeert te slaan laat lopen. Kijk, Matthias heeft wel wat foutjes gemaakt, ze zijn nog niet het perfecte duo, maar wat wil je? Die jongen heeft Totilas amper een jaar en dan al verwachten dat ze naar de olympische spelen of whatever gaan? Shure.

kijk mathias kan er niks aan doen dat hij het paard onder het zadel krijgt. hij krijgt hem van paul en hij heeft er geen schuld aan.

also ich find nicht so toll .. das ständige schweifschlagen, ein zeichen das sich das pferd nicht wohlfühlt .. und nicht nur bei edward gal, das selbe auch bei rath. und dann dieser unnatürliche trab.. :s

naja also ich finds nicht so toll, der trab sieht unnatürlich aus. Und immer dieses mit dem schweif schlagen, andauernd, ein zeichen das sich das Pferd nicht wohl fühlt. also ich find es sieht nicht toll aus..
