I have the X-Tao, Zen, Tao, and S-Tao. The factory edge on the Zen is the best edge I've ever seen. Awaiting my Pulsar. Kunwu is killing it

My initial rating for this knife. Design, A-. Value, A. Action, A. Materials, A. Ergos, B. Overall, A-. It is a must have for steel and knife nerds. It will not disappoint. It is an object and mechanical beauty. I would rather have this than a Sebenza, so that says a lot.

Very nice, the frame lock is the only holding me back since it’s not totally lefty friendly!

There are some knives where the picture doesn't do it justice. This is one for me. Saw it on their site and wasnt interested. But seeing it here, I really need to check it out. Looking for the pulsar too.

I got mine last week. Only one word describes this knife - Outstanding. The flickin hole works well in forward and reverse flicking. In fact all methods of deployment are easy and smooth. I have to say thank you Kole you made me aware of these amazing knives. This in now my second Kunwu but certainly not the last.

I just got my S-Tao a few days ago. I love it! The flipper tab is stellar. The front flipper is good but not as easy. The action is one of the best I have. As a mechanical object, it is gorgeous. I would have paid double for a US made one. The Flikin hole is hard to reverse flick for me but I am addicted to the flipper tabs. Love the blade length to handle ratio. I wish the handle was a bit bigger for my Xl hands. Not too sharp but I got it razor sharp myself. I was worried about sharpening it till I got use to fidgeting it and I was right, I cut myself sharpening it! I haven’t done that for years, I blame it on the gin. I was bleeding like a menstruating pig.

Very impressive knife. It’s now on my watch list. I was planning on buying a new knife this month, and this might have knocked the previous knife out of the running. The cutting test looked impressive. Do you notice anything when using a Vanax blade? I’ve never handled one. You remind me of the science teacher in Stranger Things. You make geeking out cool.

My wish for this knife is a wharny or reverse tanto, to have something more “pokey”. Still beautiful but I would buy 5 if the blade shape matched my desire. Have a Pulsar on the way - my first Kunwu, and can’t wait. Shipping begins in a week and then who knows how long to get stateside.

As I know,Chinese companies have some bad heattreating.I have seen the test about WE's 20cv,TwoSun's M398 and S90V.They were very disappointing!So it is doubtful that Chinese companies can do good heat treatment on vanax。 I wish I could get a knife that actually works, not a toy.

We always runs their steel soft. Twosun... is twosun. Kunwu has actually done the blade steel and heat treat side of things right from day one.

You could consider s-tao a "trainer" for stabbing. A lot of people get themselves trainers. Benchmade sells em, they're a legitimate product.

Too many knives not enough money.

How long does a Kunwu knife take to get to you ? Its been WAY too long, almost 2 months for me. Non-existent customer service. Yet I still see Kunwu videos? So confusingg

I work in an office, I'm not on Season 37 of Survivor. But i still use all of my knives for normal day to day edc tasks. 🥂

I've grown very bored at all these new sheepsfoot style blades box opener's are boring as for myself I'd never buy one but that's just my own opinion and opinions are like as"holes everybody's got one!!! Have to close out saying that I'm unimpressed with this one 🧐
