but that is the writing in the arab world as well haven't you heard terms like the sherrif of mecca. However itmeans you are a decendant of Hassan those that are decendants of Hussein are called sayid. Think you need do a bit more research on Alex Haley and Roots , the first part of roots is made up or copied(from a book called the Africa)and he lost a few Court cases about it. The second thing you need to know is that the Tribe Kunta Kine was meant to come from the Mandinka people (The Mandinka where Slave traders themselves). The other thing no wants to say is almost all Islamic Africa tribes where part of the Slave trade. Please anyone reading these comments please fact check them you will find them true! So why have you been not told this before well it comes down to two reasons those who told you either don't know or don't want you to know.

it's not even relevant because this video is not about kunta kintes life as a slave or capture it is about his ancestors and who he was before! thats as irrelevant as talking about kunta kinte in the context of the boston tea party. there are tv-series, movies, books and countless of sources if anybody wants to know about his enslavement. now kunta kinte was a mandinka not meant to come from. yes there were slavetraders amingst the mandinka not that the mandinka were slavetraders and if you did a quick google search you would find out that in that senegambian area it was not even allowed to sell an slave outside of ones village, since you like looking stuff up go look it up. look i ain't got to factcheck stuff i have heard from the horses mouth himself, i have visited these places you haven't end off. your idea of how tribes and slavery wórks is distorted and stick to stuff you do know.

well it's only relevant if the parts of africa that you have traveled through are relevant in this topic, and even that i can go to china now and walk past the chinese wall and have 3 week vacation it does not mean i now ish, about china nobody gets integrated to understand any culture by a simple road trip! look i know who ibn battuta is. and you do know the people there have their own traditions, and their own history as well. and outside historians have been known to make up lies and wrote it down in books that have been debunked today, like the entire myth about a racial immunity amongst africans against yellow fever, which their is no scientifical proof of whatsoever and they admit today they made up to justify slavery! or the interior of africa ymth concerning malaria despite the fact that somehow white people had no problem settling in south africa, zimbabwe, kenya , uganda without any malaria vaccin even though it's proven without a doubt that the entire african country has got malaria in their countries!
