I could remember always leaving the campus so early while targeting the time grandpa would be returning from farm with his cutlass by the side inside sac, just to always see him. One day I jammed him and was so shocked, he saw tru me, he laughed and he greeted me first and immediately I knelt down. People like this don't want for the material things. They just want to retire to their old houses on Ife. If you throw out these old furniture and buy new ones they'll get upset with you they are terribly emotionally attached to them. My grandmother just passed away in Ife and she loved her old chairs and furniture just the way it is.

Very certain Baba isn't doing the physically tasking work on the farm, has workers he uses for that, all he does is visit the farm and supervise the work going down there.

Let's be factual; Baba needs to be assisted. He is aged but still engage in farming to augment financial inflow from other sources. Let's not forget that owing to his age, he can feature in far less movies as he used to in the past. Unfortunately, theatre is not a pensionable profession in Nigeria. He started building his personal house some years back in Ekiti, but paucity of funds made him to abandon the project midway. The children have always been supportive to the best of their ability. However, "omi po ju garri lo ni". Besides all these, showing him appreciation while he lives will be more impactful and appreciated than when he is gone. Such an iconic thespian should spend the rest of his life with happiness and a sense of fulfillment! Let's do this for Baba!

If you watch the video of the 55yrs on stage is something that was organised for him by some ppl and is just 2 actors that attended the occasion. I wasn't happy about this . I know Baba very well.
