You may, probably will, need the long sleeve shirt and the rain pants just for the mosquitos. I would also recommend a headnet. I will be hiking around Abisko and Nikkaluokta on September too, who knows, maybe we run into each other on the trail. Have fun, it’s going to be great! 😊

You will enjoy Kungsleden so much. It's incredible and wild and open and challenging. Remember that the mosquitoes are quite a nuisance here, especially in the northern region where you'll be. They can ruin your trip if you don't have a head net and repellent.

Gear reviews, in most cases, are not interesting, but you create something that has a different vibe to it and I always enjoy your take on the gear. Have a great trip, looking forward to following along as usual.

I’ve done 300 trail miles in the Lone Peaks- I now wear them full time. Plus they come in half sizes over 12! Bestest shoe ever.

Really looking forward to following you on this one. Doing a jojo is a great idea, towards the end of september all the trees changes colors fast, bright red and yellow. It looks amazing.

This is gonna be awesome 🤘🏻 Look forward to having you in my country and I hiked that trail last year. I also whent NOBO. I did it in 15 days on way. You don't have to do anything regarding foodbags in Sweden. We always sleep with our food.

As an extremely heavy sweater, the extra short material absorbs the sweat and then chafes my legs and groin. I don't like wearing the wisp thin short shorts, but it is a must for my long hikes. Can't wait to follow your upcoming adventure. Best of luck!

We will be in Sweden at the same time ,sort of lol . my wife and i will be hiking the high coast trail and the heritage trail. you could hike that badboy as well as the Kungsleden or even the Bohusleden which is nice.

I was just talking to Penguin(PCT2019). She lives in Sweden. You and she were in Hiker Town at the same time and rode in a bus together. She was telling me that there is a problem with stomach bugs on the King's Trail and some cabins have been closed. Be careful. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

This is actually true. Many (all?) huts have been closed and there are some logistical issues as well. If you're not planning to resupply from the huts, this shouldn't be a huge issue, but considering there's very few resupply options on this trail (outside of the huts), the food carries will be huge.

GOTTA have the best footwear! Gotta have a pouch for your "dip can" LOL!
