Bro in all due respect the guy in the black shirt from a year or so ago from when he joined has not developed at all. He still makes the same mistakes and always leaves himself open and barely utilizes his legs. He is also very dramatic for someone that has been going here a while.

None of his students show any real knowledge in regards to sparring, let alone fighting. They all over react, throw techniques that make no sense to throw, show no knowledge of distancing or timing. It's just a sloppy display of slap fighting. To prove my point, look at some of Freddies long standing students who have been there for years, go look at some videos from years ago and the same students still spar the same way, like it's the first time they've ever done it. Some can call it hating, but just watch how terrible the standard is, and Freddie does nothing to help, no advice is given , no prompting. Its all very well to say, he does off camera, but these guys need coaching. They just seem to be used for nothing more than video content. Even if you are a Freddie fan, supporter or whatever, you would have to be honest with yourself that this does not resemble self defence

The big guy in the chef's hat completely dominated. The other didn't really know what to do. I think it would always be good to work on posture. but the third round looked better.

Honestly, I don’t know anything about wing chun sparring, but as an outsider, this does look a little goofy 😀 but I’m sure it’s great exercise, fun, and let’s you train without being weighed down and vision destroyed by pads and helmets.

For all the keyboard masters: Show us all your sparring so we can see how it should be done. Critique should always be purposeful. These are students, and all students learn at their own pace. Also, just because we don’t see the coach coaching on the video(s) does not mean he is not doing so. Seldom do students (en masse) display their master’s acumen. Mastery doesn’t occur in a classroom. If I am wrong, please instruct me.

Because someone has an unpopular opinion on what they are viewing does not make them a "keyboard master", that is a lazy and typical response. I have been training and fighting for many years, I don't feel the need to record myself sparring to validate my opinion either, those who know me, know. As for different students learning at different speeds, I couldn't agree with you more, its a learning curve and takes time, that being said, some of these guys on video here have been training for years and spar like they've never had any experience. Also, in terms of mastery, what exactly is Freddie a master of? How would you define him as a master of what he does?

@@Kevin-it8hb Fr my point was that some of the guys that have been training here for a while haven’t progressed very far at all
