In some parts it feels like a cinema with a boat floating through it. I prefer physical sets, the screens/projections are too obvious. What they did with the Jurassic World ride is way more impressive.

All the budget went to Jurassic cause that's their E ticket ride while this is most likely C or D ticket.

Same opinion, I feel that this park coulda been better, it has most of the franchises universal wants in new parks but I mean, they can do so much better.

There are a lot of underutilized empty spaces so it kinda ruins the momentum especially for a slow moving ride.

I personally think the king fu panda land and the waiting area sets a much better scene than the ride itself. The inside land with the lighting and starry sky is just amazing.

Furious 5 might of had more screen time here than in the actual Kung Fu Panda 4.

look at the jurassic world bejing ride, watch ti all the way through. no skipping. just watch. it's clear that this kung fu panda ride had a low budget because they put it all into jurassic. which Im glad about after looking at the state of jurassic park florida :)

Can we stop banging on about the Jurassic park ride? It’s an animatronic dinosaur on a crane arm. Animatronic dinosaurs have been done so many times. Disney have had a walking dinosaur in Dinosaur/countdown to extinction over at Animal Kingdom for years.

Not a fan of disney much lately. Loving what universal has been able to achieve in the past ten years. I hope they continue, future is bright for them and its only up from here.

When you compare it to the SpongeBob ride plans, it becomes clear that they were already done with a lot of construction for it. It’s almost 1-1

did this ride get updated? i remember watching a video long ago about this ride being to slow of a boat ride and is mostly screens and the effects not going off at the right times.

Forgot the name of the park that likes to put a lot of statues into their rides, something something Dubai but this looks kinda nice. If the screens weren't, i like it oldschool.

It's actually fitting since Kung Fu Panda is set in Ancient China.

I look forward to seeing it the next time I go to Universal!

It’s at Beijing

If you play the video at x1.25 speed, it’s actually a very good and well paced ride. It’s just too slow moving.

The animatronic po definitely needs more padding or something as its movements are showing its mechanical skeleton a little. It just doesn’t look quite right.

This gives more of a Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a Small World vibe

Is this what Tiana’s bayou Adventure will look like?

The music is nice and the backgrounds are pretty BUT the animatronics barely moves and there's way too much screens. It broke the immersion. If this ride was like the Zootopia one; with a lot of effects; explosions, lights, animatronics with blinking eyes etc. It would be fun! It's not boring but not amazing either. This ride looks ok 🙂

Some parts of this ride feels like universal just gave up and decided to pull off a Disney move and just add screens

They have enough almost all screen rides now. Get rid of the abysmal Furious ride first.

This looks sloppy, even for Universal. Simple animatronics that look about as good as those seen over two decades ago, giant obvious screens, and lot's of dead space for such a slow ride. You'd think that park with such a ride as Jurassic World Adventure in their offerings would have done a lot better than a slow boat ride past a bunch of screens.

the animatronics honestly are not as impressive as I thought they would be, they are very jittery and not super fluent like some Disney ones are. and the number of screens and projections I'm fine with but it's way too obvious, again i feel Disney is way better at doing these kind of things with their rides.

Way too plain. Maybe they can’t afford more theming. If that’s the case then they shouldn’t have built it. It looks really bad and plain. They need to get on that rich Universal Studios Hollywood budget

Yeah, this ride sucks, but it's still more exciting than the fourth movie.

Typical to China it's strictly for the Chinese. No other languages offered. There was far too much undecorated space between action points that didn't even try to hide the bare-bones effort that went into this ride. The over-use of large screens & projections made it a little more immersive experience than watching TV while sitting in your bathtub. The animatronics was uninspired off-the-shelf side-show-level robotics & were simply there to provide the hardcore fans with the obligatory characters.

It’s a ride for children. so it is very simple but not really bad.

This ride reminds me of pirates of the caribbean if the animatronics were worse, the sets were boring, large amounts of empty space, and everything else was uninteresting.
