Many people theorize that kai doesnt use ti lungs or oogway chi because they are either to powerful to control or he is using their chi to be able to stay in the physical world and thus cant use them to fight.

This movie franchise is so amazing. Some things you might not know ( found on Reddit ) is that when Oogway was younger he was a warlord and that's when he met Kai, another war lord, with whom he became brother-in-arms. After Oogway was injured and trained with the pandas he found peace and completely changed his views and from that moment on, he only practiced peace and tranquility Also people have pointed out that if you freeze a frame somewhere you'll see Kai also has Tai Lung's chi. The only reason he didn't use Tai Lung as a jade zombie is because ( just a theory ) Tai Lung would have been too powerful to control

Tai lung wouldn't of been too strong to control because he took oogways and wanted pohs both would have been stronger than tai lungs

And Abit oogway being an evil warlord that's a rumour not a fact as we have never seen oogways backstory. It's possible but DreamWorks has never said oogways was evil
This movie is one of my FAVORITES and it's also PERFECT timing since KUNG FU PANDA 4 is now playing in theaters!!! I really hope you react the 4th movie someday in the future!!!

rewatching the movie...there's actually more significance in Ping hitting Shifu...because he uses the very same pan he told Po not to use when the Jombies first showed up
Fun fact: Much like the Trolls Franchise, Kung Fu Panda has also done a Holiday Special that's worth the watch. Also, if you two love DreamWorks and haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend the underrated gem, Megamind.

the problem with KP4 is all the character development that po had in the past 3 movies goes downhill and now po feels like the po from kung fu panda 1 it's so hillarious and frustrating and btw KP3 was my favourite out of the 3
