In this video I show how I create two Kumiko panels with a triangular gridwork using a custom table saw sled. This video parallels my article in Fine Woodworking #274.

Wow, it's a joy watching your Kumiko work, Mike. To me, Kumiko has this meditational feel to it. I don't mind the repetitive aspects of it, it serves to keeping me on my toes, this being fiddly work requiring a high degree of accuracy. Love your channel, keep it up and rock on.

I like how Kumiko looks at the center of the intersection. It creates those shining like circles of wood. It is a fantastic illusion that is possible only with the perfection you showed. Congrats on the FW article. I heard in the podcast about you. Best regards from Croatia

This was the best and most informative video on Kumiko I have ever seen! You explain your process so very clearly and it is very pleasing to watch you coming along with your work! Please keep on making such great videos so that more people understand the beauty, but also the complexity and difficulty of fine woodworking! Looking forward to new videos from you !
